Reiss Mobile Vet is proud to serve the Round Hill, Virginia area (see our map of our 25-mile radius). Your pets’ health and well-being are very important to us, and we take every possible measure to give your animals the medical care they need and deserve. Jonathan Reiss is a VA-licensed veterinarian; he and his staff have experience with treating several species of pets. Your pet will be in caring, knowledgeable hands.

We offer the benefits of a full-service traveling hospital, complete with blood analyzers, microscopy, digital full-body and dental radiography, anesthesia and monitoring, and dental care.  A full surgical suite will be brought directly to the patient, saving time and lowering stress for both pet and parent. Even hospitalization for certain issues is available without the need for a referral to a traditional clinic or emergency hospital.

The nature of mobile vet service caters to several types of people and pets. Those with busy lives and/or young children can enjoy the convenience of having services brought to them around their schedules. It offers elderly clients and others with mobility issues the ability to provide medical care for their pets without the need for outside aid.  Additionally, the concept of individualized and personal in-home care appeals to those clients who enjoy the concierge-style of medicine.  Many animals also benefit from this type of service, including those who do not travel well, experience anxiety with the car or vet office, or who have mobility issues themselves. Cats in particular suffer from stress when they are brought to the vet and therefore often do not receive important routine care. Likewise, many diseases are better managed by evaluation and treatment in a low-stress environment. These include health concerns such as diabetes, tracheal malfunctions, high blood pressure and heart disease, as well as many other issues.  Lastly, households or rescues with many pets can benefit from the convenience of having all their animals cared for at once in one location, saving you from taking multiple trips to the vet.

We offer a variety of resources that will further your knowledge on how to better care for your pets. The best veterinary care is ongoing nutrition and prevention; understanding and practicing preventative pet care is essential to the ongoing success of your animal’s health. If you have any questions, call us at (540)454-5400 or email us at reissmobilevet@gmail.com.

At Reiss Mobile Vet, we treat your pets like the beloved family members they are.
